Hello!!
I am having trouble getting the right ratio of rice to water while cooking sonamasuri rice in an electric rice cooker. Please help!!
I tried 1:3 (rice:water) and 1:2.5, and in either case, the rice becomes soft/slightly mushy in the middle. 1:2 results in very 'dry' rice.

Hi,
If you are making 5 cups of rice add 9 cups water, like wise if 4 cups of rice add 7 cups water it comes out very well, neither dry nor mushy, try and let me know. The ratio is 2 * ( the number of cups of rice) - 1
