Hello Preeti,
Roasted Dill seeds (Suva daana) or Roasted Omam seeds (Ajavayin) with black salt surely reduces nausea in pregnancy.
What you need to do is to slightly presoak either dill or omam in water. Then add slight turmeric powder and Black salt.Mix thoroughly and let it dry in room under the fan.
Once reasonably dry, light roast till all the moisture is left.
Fill up in a glass jar and use when you feel the vomitting sensation.

Dear Preeti,
Some helpful hints for your friend :-
Tell your friend to get out of bed slowly, before she get out of bed tell her to munch some dry salty biscuits, like cream crackers. If she have some one to help her, they can give her a cup of black (Ginger) tea with sugar before she get out of bed, Or she can take tea in a thermos flask, before she goes to bed. These will help to reduce the nausea.
