We're going to shift our residence shortly & I need to cook and store food that will last for 2 to 3 days. Any suggestions please on what dishes will tolerate repeated reheating in the microwave & refrigeration. Will freezing destroy the nutrients & taste? Please advise.

Dear Revathy,
you can prepare dishes like chana masala, fried foods like potato fry, okra fry,egg plant fry, cauliflower and peas fry etc.and sambaaralso you can store.some chutney varieties.Idlies you can freeze.
Get Ziploc bags freezer storage ones(1 gallon bags). You plan when ,what to eat according to that store the foods as soon as you cook ofcourse when it cools down.Don't put all in same bag.spit the curries in 2 or 3 bags.Idlies and sambar also you can do it in the same way.whenever you want you can heat it in a microwave.I don't think the frozen foods loose its nutrients or taste. Many people in USA do this.
All the best
Devi
