Hello friends,

I know that this is meant for kitchen, but in miscellaneous section, could not find this box. So, pls bear and clear my doubt.

I am having marigold plant in my garden. But, these slugs(black and brown color worm) is eating the leaves and flowers fully. Trying to find some pesticides, but, before that, want to make sure that it kills totally. So, anyone have any experience like mine!

  I HAVE HAD THESE DIRTY SLGS ALL OVER THE GARDEN , IT WILL BE ONLY ON WET GROUNDS ESPECIALLY WHEN THE GRASS IS ALWAYS WET AND THERE IS NO SUN.TRY AND SPRINKLE SOMETHING WITH SALT BASE IT WILL DIE LIKE THE EARTHWORMS .

  thanks for the prompt reply. You could be right, but, it does not go to the potting plants. I read that marigold attracts slugs very well. So far, I saw only black color slugs coming, but yesterday only, noticed some brown color slugs have also started coming!!
  
  You said about salt base-what is it exactly? Because, when I was young, I heard that earthworm is good for the plant growth. So, I never saw anyone trying to kill them. Can u pls explain me abt. the salt base? Will it not kill the plant, right?

  I AM HAVING LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH MY COMPUTER AT HOME , TOOMANY POPUPS HAVE LITEREALLY KILLED EVERYTHING. WE NEED A TECHY GUY TO FIX IT , I FOUND A FEW MINS AT WORK . WELL I USED TO USE THE ROCK SALT FOR SNOW REMAOVAL AND SPRINKLE ONLY IN THE AREAS WHERE I SAW SLUGS USUALLY IT IS UNDER ONE PLANT ON NEAR ONE . TRY THE LOCAL NURSERIES IF THEY SELL ANYTHING FOR SLUG REMOVAL.

  hi, place a small container with some beer in itin the pot in which the plant is. slugs jump in instead of feasting on the plants. it really works
