add a spoon of rice powder to the buttermilk mixture and take care to switch off when the more kuzambu come to boil. do not boil at any cost. again cover it with a lid leaving a little open .

Soak 2 teaspoon thuvaram paruppu for 1 hr. Grind cocounut, soaked thuvaram paruppu, some cashews, seeragam, green chillies. While grinding instead of water use curd/butter milk.
Allow the more to curdle, after that add the above paste, it will make it thick, 99% it won't be watery, still if it is arisi maavu karaithu oothavum.
Hope this helps.

Hey ppl!
For those who are supposed to refrain from using cocunut, due to some heart patients at home, or any other colestral avoiding reasons....
ONE CAN MAKE MORE KUZHAMBU WITHOUT COCONUT
believe me, its equally tasty.
My mother in law, told me to soak
green gram
corriander leaves
and grind it with
jeera,
green or red chillies (as per taste)
and do the usual way.
THere is no difference
Its tastes the same or rather better.
It also gives a thick consistency, as dhaal is ground and added.
thx,
Shakthi
