hi geetha,
Here I have given the recipe for the mouth watering Kozhukattai by using readymade rice flour.
mix the flour with boiled water and salt.make sure The batter must be thick enough like chappathi batter.
now for the filling,
boiled some toor dhall and drain the water after cook.add grated coconut, salt for taste, sugar and mix well.
now for the making of Kozhukattai cups.
Smear your hands with a little seasame oil. Smoothen the prepared rice flour batter with your hands. Make small rounds (the size of a lemon). Make cups out of these rounds which is an art!
Filling the cups,
Fill these cups with the prepared dhall_coconut filling. Put these filled up cups on an idli-plate and cook them.
Now the delecious Kozhukattais are ready to eat!
This is what i know...if anything wrong pls forgive me...Thanks
