Some people delete the sambhar powder and use the fresh powder as whole. So, fry red chillies, fenugreek seeds, channa dhal, dhania, once they turned into brown, addd coconut and fry for few mts, grind nicely. Finally, dont forget to garnish with coriander leaves.
For more flavor, you can fry sambhar onion before adding water.
