I like to take a few papads with me to work and of course have to way to cook them in the field. Is there any particular way to keep them crisp?

  Roast two spoons of Rice till light pink .Make a small bag of Muslin cloth and fill up roasted rice in that bag. Keep this rice bag along with roasted papadams .
  Your papads will remain crisp even in balmy weather.
  Take care to have a reasonably tight closer for papadas.
