Is there a way to roast the frozen french fries available in supermarkets in the oven, instead of deep-frying them? What is the process to get crisp oven-roasted fries ?

Yes. I used to do it in the oven. You can see the instructions on the package of frozen french fries.

Hello potato,
There are instructions only for frying on the packet & not even a mention of how to do in oven. Maybe only certain brands print that info.
Can you tell the oven temp. & how long to keep the fries? Do they need to be thawed first?
Thanks.

Hi Kamakshi
Look for frozen chips specialy marked as oven fries. Normaly you cook on hot oven 225 degrees C for 20 to 25 minutes. You don't need to thow them. Spread the chips on an oven tray and turn when its cooked half way. Check the back of the packet if you buy the oven varieties.
