Hi deva,
For all the podis almost the base is the same.
BENGAL GRAM DAL-1/2CUP
SKINNED BLACK GRAM DAL-1/2CUP
RED CHILLIES-6
ROASTED BENGAL GRAM DAL(POTTU KADALAI)-1/2 CUP
FRESH GARLIC PEARLS -1/2 CUP
SALT TO TASTE.
Except garlic dry roast all the ingredients . grind garlic,salt all the ingredients together.Store it in a air tight container.
Add ghee to hot rice and this podi .Enjoy !!

Hi di,
here is a recipe for kariveppilai podi.
BENGAL GRAM DAL-1/4 CUP
URAD DAL- 1/2CUP
RED CHILLIES-5 OR 6
KARIVEPPILAI [ONLY LEAVES]-2CUPS
COOKING OIL 1TSP
HING 0R ASAFOTIDA POWDER-1 TSP
SALT TO TASTE
At first dry the leaves for 2 hrs in the room temp.,than dry roast it in the kadai in low flame.It shouln't burn.Heat the oil fry the dals ,chillies.Grind all the above ingredients together.Store it in a tight container.

KARIVEPPILAI PODI IS GOOD FOR HEALTH.BUT YOU HAVE TO DEVELOP A TASTE FOR THAT.PLS TRY MAKING LITTLE QUANTITY AND TASTE THEN GO FOR MORE.IN MANY HOUSES THEY TAKE FOR A DAY OR TWO THEN NEGLECTED AND FINALLY THROWN OUT.
