my friend's mom send some for us from mannarguddy,tanjavore. It was so crunchy-munchy -does anyone know how these r made?

Ribbon Pakoda
Ingredients
Rice flour = 4 Cups
Gram flour = 1 Cups
Butter = 2 tblspoon
Chilipowder = 3 spoons
Asfoetida = 1 spoon
Hot oil = 2tsp
Oil as needed for frying
Heat the oil for frying .Mix all other ingredients with water to make thick smooth dough.Using the mold press it in the hot oil.Deep fry each batch. Drain and store it an airtight container.
