WHITE SAUCE

Please let us know the recipe of white sauce serving in the hotels with Fish Fingers.

Hi Kanna
Its called tartare sauce. You can buy it at the shops in the sauce section. Once opened keep it in the fridge. It has chopped gerkins, capers, sugar and vinegar with white sauce in it.

Its Tartar sauce and its made from Mayonnaise.
White sauce is a hot sauce and is one of the Mother sauces.

Although mayonnaise is considered to be a Mother sauce, some purists argue that only hot sauces qualify to be mother sauces. Mayonnaise is a cold sauce
