Poori Masala.

Can any one tell me the method of preparing Potato Masala for Poori.

Originally called Poori Kilangu (Potato Masala For Poori Or Dosa)
Ingredients:
onion - 1 (cut lenth wise)
potato - 2 (boiled & mashed)
green chillies - 5 or 6 (slit into two)
cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
aniseed - 1/2 tsp
cloves - 2
cinnamom -1/2 inch
turmeric powder - 1/4 stp
oil - 4 stp
salt -to taste
tomato - 1(small)optional
Method :
Put the cut onions in little water and cook until the onions are soft.
Mash the potato's with the onions & let it mix well.
Heat the pan with little oil,add cumin seeds,aniseed,cloves &cinnamom.
When the above ingredients turn red ,add green chillies & fry for a wh ile. (tomato is optional)
Then add the potato and onion mix.
Put some turmetic powder & salt .cook until the raw smell of turmeric vanishes.
Garnish with corriander leaves.
Sever with poori on dosa.
