Some North Indian friends of ours are travelling next month, with their families to Coimbatore, where they'll halt for 3 weeks and tour nearby Thekkady, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Munnar, Mudumalai etc. Since I am familiar with only Madras hotels, can someone advise as to which hotels in Coimbatore are suitable & safe for staying with family . Good food (veg.) & reasonable price are also the other obvious needs. Please post your suggestions / experience. Thanks.

  Hi Kamakshi,
  Annapoorna is the best in Coimbatore. We stayed there for a week and the rooms are fantastic. They also have a couple of restaurants that serve really good vegetarian food.
