Hi,

Does anyone knows how to make Habshee halwa which contains whole wheat, sugar, milk etc.?

Also, have a doubt-basically, how do we extract milk from the whole wheat either for the above sweet or for tirunelveli halwa, being in US, feel it is little difficult!! So, is there any solution to make these sweets??

  As per my general understanding, wheat is soaked in warm water for about five to six hours (more if you live in Northern American states) .
  Take a wheat grain in between thumb and first finger.Press it.If you fing thick white liquid oozing, the wheat cj be mashed and filter the thick white milk.
  This is how you MILK the wheat.

  i saw in a website that h.halwa is prepared with cashew,sugar,milk etc. but in shops, since it is not affordable, they add wheat also with cashews. unfortunately, the proper method or the qty is not given. will let u know, if i find any.
