Iwasn't able to follow up with u in the thread abt greens.Can u tell the procedure of preparing collard greens and Vaali(What is it in tamil).

You can make dal with collard greens as we make it with palak. Make sure you cook this green in water in an open sauce pan and add it to dal after the greens are cooked well.
I don't know what is Vaali called in Tamil. Here is the link to some of the recipes that could be prepared using Vaali or Basale soppu in Kannada.
