  u need..chick peas..you get boiled chick peas..u can use that or soak them ovenight and boil them completely.
  
  onions 1
  tomato 1
  chole masala - 1 spoon
  kashmiri chilli powder - 1 spoon..( i use kasmiri chilli powder coz its not that spicy and gives you the red colour)
  one gren chilli finely chopped
  ginger finely chopped and
  garlic finely chopped
  
  curry leaves and coriander leaves to garnish
  
  in a pan pour some oil..add jeera..ginger, garlic and chillies..then the onions and saute till the color changes..add the tomatoes..saute well..add the chole masala and chilli powder salt...saute again till the oil seperates..add the chick peas..pour water..and leave the gas in low flame for about 10 minute...turn the gas off and granish it with curry and coriander leaves!
