Hi,
You can make lots of dishes using raw banana.
If you know these terms, you can put banana in the place of other vegetables.
1.Poriyal or Palya in kannada
2. Gotsu or Gojju in kannada
3. Vatta Kolambu (this is a tamil recipe so no kannada word)
If you do not know how to make them, let me know, I'll post the recipes.

Hi Meena,
for the rawa banana gotsu or gojju, recipe is here:
Ingredients:
Raw banana - 2 peeled and cubed
Haldi - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Jaggery - lemon size
tamarind - lemon size
Rasam powder - 3 tsp
fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1tsp
Oil - 3 Tbs
Curry leaves - 2 or 3
Hing - a pinch
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chillies - 2 broken
Method:
Keep oil in a kadai. When heats add mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chillies, hing, turmeric. After all these are done, add the cut banana pieces. Add salt. Stir and let it get cooked for about 15 minutes or so until they are soft and cooked on medium heat . Now, extract the juice from tamarind (You'll have an idea on how much water to use this dish is a little liquidy). Let it boil till raw smell of tamarind goes away. Now is the time to add rasam powder and jaggery. You can taste now and make variations according to your taste. Let it boil. Meanwhile dry roast fenugreek and jeera and powder it. When the gojju is boiling, add this powder and mix well, simmer for about a minute or two, and gojju is ready. Goes well with roti, chapathi and rice.
I'll post another variation of the same which uses coconut tommorrow.
