Hi
For crisp ulundu vadai
soak one cup Ulundu , 2 tsp thuvaram paruppu, green & red chillies for 1 hour. (if you soak in hot water half an hout would do)
Strain. Add salt, perumgAyam and grind with no water at all. Later if needed add little water. Rmove from mixer add shortly cut coriander and curry leaves and mix 1 tsp of RICE FLOUR.
(Rice flour will give you crispy vadas)
Take a plastic cover clean it with littel water in hand . Make you hand wet with litte water Make small balls of mavvu and hit it on the cover with little force and make a hole in centre. carefully remove from the cover and put in oil.
You are sure to get crispy vadas next time you make.
You can add cabbage, greans, onion in the dough as per your taste
Hope it works good for you
Bye
Andal

Has anyone successfully made ulundhu vadai (grinding with practically no water) with mixie? How did you achieve it?
