I'm inviting a friend over dinner this weekend and planning to make non-veg dishes.
I'm thinking of preparing a soup, chicken briyani, chicken gravy, chappati, curd raita, one or two sweets, may be fully boiled eggs too!
What else i can add to the menu? I want one more main dish and side dish. What soup will be best suitable?
My friend is pregnant, anything special i can prepare for her? I mean any special soup or sweet or any non-veg dish? pls post your ideas!
Your suggestions and recipe for the same are Welcome!
Thanks!

Hi Raathi,
Thanks a lot for your quick response!
The reason i picked methu vadai is that they like very much and also i thought it will be suitable, like we have idli, vadai and smabar!
Adai is a good choice, only thing is i have prepare vadai just before they come and idli's after they come, so then i have to make adais.
Today tried Mrs. Mano's veg puloa which you posted from search and turned out well, tasted almost like briyani. So, i have to choose either adai or veg puloa/ have to prepare both.
For rava idli, idli sambar was best combition along with two chutneys. So i guess, i will go for sambar and prepare raita for puloa, may be egg roast if i have time.
Thanks again for ur help. Bye!
