Dear Sony, here is masala vadai for you.
Ingredients
250 grms chana dal soaked for 5 hours
1 tsp anise seeds crushed with your hands
1 big onion chopped
3 green chillies chopped
1 inch piece of ginger chopped
1 sprig curry leaves chopped
salt to taste
oil for frying
Method
Drain the chana dal.Keep aside 1 tbs of the soaked dal.
Grind the rest of the dal coarsely, without adding any water.
Mix all the ingredients with the ground dal.
Take a lime size ba#ll of the mixture, and form into medium sized vadai and deep fry on medium fire till light brown.
Enjoy for your evening tea. Thanks

hi,
if you have dry green split-peas dal, you can make the vada by adding equal proportion of channa dal and peas dal. this will make the vada more crispy.

Hai sony,
I think for parippu vada better to use 2 cup of toor dhal and 1 cup of moong dhal.Once i used channa dhal it didn't come out good.may be my fault.Anyway just try it out.
