How to prepare Crab ?

Do any of you know, how to cook CRAB in south indian style?

Crab fry: (I wrote this recipe from Vanitha magazine written by Fousia Musthafa, but I never tried this)
1. Fresh crab - 5
2. Chilly powder 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
3. Sliced onion 2 Big ones
Sliced Chillies 2
Crushed Ginger 1" piece
Crushed Garlic 8 cloves
4. Black Pepper Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Chopped Coriander Leaves 1 teaspoon
5. Oil 1 tablespoon
Cleaning the Crab:
On the under surface of the Crab there is a white triangular flap. Hold on to the pointed end of the flap and pull it out. This flap is continous with the outer shell. You can pull the flap and with it the whole outer shell will come out, leaving the meat intact. Now remove the gills from the crab meat and cut and remove the claws from the crab legs. You can divide each crab meat into two pieces.
Put some salt in a vessel and add the crab meat and mix well with the hand. Wash the meat several times with water until the water becomes clear.
Place the crab meat in a saucepan and add the chilly powder, Turmeric, salt and just enough water to cook the crab. Place the container on a stove top and cook in a medium flame until all the liquid is absorbed.
Pour the oil in another container and heat it up. Now add sliced onion and saute it for a few minutes until it becomes tranparent. To this add sliced chillies, crushed ginger and garlic one after the other and saute. When the oil starts to separate add the chopped Coriander leaves, Black Pepper powder and cooked crab meat and mix well so that the masala gets coated onto the meat. When it is fried well, switch off the stove. Serve this warm with rice or chappathies.

I've just purchased crab claws for the very first time. I don't know how to prepare them. Do I simply boil them and serve with melted butter? HELP!!!:)

RECEIPE FOR CRAB
CRAB 1 KG AFTER CLEANING
FOR ROASTING :
COCONUT GRATED 1/2
KASHMIRI RED CHILLIES 10
CORRIENDER SEEDS 1 TBSP
JEERA 1/2 TSP
METHI SEEDS 1/2 TSP
MUSTARD 1/4 TSP
CLOVES 4
CINNAMON 2 STICK
PEPPER CORNS 5
FOR GRINDING:
GINGER 1 INCH
GARLIS FLAKES 4/5
ONION 1/2
TAMRIND PULP 3 TBSP
HEAT THE PAN AND ROAST ALL THE INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR COCONUT.SLIGHTLY ROAST COCONUT SEPERATELY.GRIND ALL INGREDIENDTS UNDER GRINDING AND THE ROASTED INGREDIENTS WITH ONLY LITTLE WATER FOR ONLY 3 OR 4 MTS.DO NOT GRIND FINELY.
HEAT OIL/GHEE IN KADAI.FRY THE GROUND MASALA STIR AND ADD THE CRAB, SALT. CLOSE AND COOK TILL DONE. FRY 2 LARGE ONIONS TILL SLIGHTLY BROWN AND ADD TO THIS . SERVE WITH RICE.

Crab Coconut Fry
Ingredients need:
Wash & clean Crabs well. Slice Onions, slit Green Chillies, Cut Tomatoes, Curry Leaves few, Turmeric Powder, Salt to Taste, Oil for frying.
Grind : Ginger, Garlic & Coriander leaves. Grind Coconut separately & keep. For Garnishing: 2-3 Tablespoons of Chopped Coriander Leaves. Juice of 1 lime (opt)
Method
Pour Oil in a Vessel fry the sliced Onions, Curry Leaves & Green Chillies when the Onions are getting brown add the ground Masala, Salt, Turmeric Powder & fry nicely till the oil comes to the surface, now add the chopped Tomatoes & continue to fry the Masala till the Tomatoes are soft, now add the ground Coconut paste, mix well, add the Crabs, water & cook till Crabs are done, the grave has reached its thickness & flavour escapes. Remove from Fire & Garnish with the Chopped Corriander leaves.

here is a simple crab curry
4 to 6 crabs
galic and ginger paste
green chill 3
onion 2 (sliced)
potato CUT INTO 4
ventayiam 1\4 tsp
ulunthu 1\2 tsb
periya seragam 1\2 tsb
masala power (FISH CURRY POWER)
TUMERIC 1\4 TSB
TOMATO 2 (DICED)
PULI WATER A LITTLE
METHOD
PUT OIL IN THE WOK, ADD THE ULUNTHU, B.SERAGAM,VENTHAYAM STIR ULUNTHU TILL BROWN, ADD ONION,GARLIC,& GINGER AND CURRY LEAF. THEN ADD THE CRAB, TUMERIC AND SALT. STIR TILL THE CARB BECOME RED IN COLOUR. THEN ADD WATER TILL COVER THE CRAB AND MASALA POWER. ONCE ITS BOLIED ADD THE POTATO. WHEN THE GRAVE IS THICK AND THE PULI WATER THEN LET IT BOLIED FOR A WHILE. SERVE WITH
RICE. * IF THE CURRY IS TOO WATERY YOU CAN ADD
CORIANDER POWDER.
