I just want to know the proportion and making of uthappam.can anyone help?

Hi,
One cup Boiled Rice
One cup Raw Rice
two handful Urad Dal
and a spoon of methi seeds
soak these together for 5 to 6 hrs and grind it finely and let it ferment.  I normally make like this and the uthappam comes out very well.  You can  add your own toppings.

Hello Nirupama,
You have forgotten Salt.The ingredients are to be soaked for about 3 hours and no salt is to be added when soaking.
You can make a variation by adding Thoram parappu or Payir parappu.Especially when you make Onion Uthappam.
