  Try to see both equally!
  
  This would wound many elder people's sentiments.
  It may or may not be true, depends on maturity level of each individual, yet such treatment of elder people wounds us.

  when u were 40, she called to remind of a relative's birthday
  You thanked her by saying 'you were really busy right now'.
  
  When u were 50, she fell ill and needed u to take care of her,
  You thanked her by reading about the burden parents become to their children.
  
  And then one day... she quietly died...
  And everything u never did, came crashing down like a thunder ON YOUR HEART.
