thank you for your time,
and may Kanda Swami, or Durga, or Hari, or Buddha, or Allah, or God, or Mahavir, or Yahweh, or Mary, or Aurmazud, or Eruzilie Dantor, or Maximon, or Kuan Yin, or Supay, or whatever else one might want to call the sacred,... may we find strength in that sacrality (and in ourselves and each other) to lead our world out of the reactionary fascism and Orwellian bloodlust that is plaguing us and which governents everywhere are gleefully indulging in far too much.
Love your fellow being.
let usfind a way out of war, bigotry and fascism.

If you read Vedhas in English, it sounds like Bible. Bible when you read in Arabic sounds same like Quron. Quron when translated in Sanskrit, it will be like copy of Vedhas.
I think God has done two tricks. One: He remains as the ONE so that mankind feel united. Second: Different Languages, so that mankind will move ahead with their own resources.

Direct Quotes of Swami Vivekananda
"Religion is not in books, nor in theories, nor in dogmas, nor in talking, not even in reasoning. It is being and becoming."
"I do not believe in a God or religion which cannot wipe the widow's tears or bring a piece of bread to the orphan's mouth."
"Infinite power and existence and blessedness are ours, and we have not to acquire them; they are our own, and we have only to manifest them."
"He who has no faith in himself can never have faith in God."
"Be an atheist if you want, but do not believe in anything unquestioningly."
"The living God is within you."
"He alone is worshiping God who serves all beings."

Lets have a close look in major religions.
Hinduism :
This is the gist of all worship - to be pure and to do good to others. He who sees Siva in the poor, in the weak, and in the diseased, really worships Siva, and if he sees Siva only in the image, his worship is but preliminary. He who has served and helped one poor man seeing Siva in him, without thinking of his cast, creed, or race, or anything, with him Siva is more pleased than with the man who sees Him only in temples.

The intelligent souls who have attained divine qualities and abandoned all mundane prejudice, perceive the absolute transcendence within all living beings are known as "pandita" - men of true wisdom.
Quran :
People are created equal in front of the Law of God. There is no superiority for one race over another. God made us of different colors, nationalities, languages and beliefs so as to test who is going to be better than others. No one can claim that he is better than others. It is only God Who knows who is better. It depends on piety and righteousness.
Islam calls humanity to the service of the One, Omnipotent Creator, Who is known as "Allah, " (The Deity) in the Arabic language. It further instructs people on how they may live together in peace and harmony regardless of race, class or beliefs. The unity of purpose brought by all previous religious guides is highlighted as well as traditional morality, the equality of the sexes before God and the virtues of patience and humbleness.
Christianity :
A small real story ::
The Master seemed delighted as he started instructing Chester. "In the Bhagavad-Gita, we learn that Krishna created everything and sustains all things by his glory. Chapter 9 teaches that the entire material universe is created, prevaded, maintained and sustained by him. In Chapter 10 we learn that he is the source of everthing and that all existence is because of Lord Krishna. '... I am the seed of all creatures; nothing animate or inanimate could exist without me.'
In John 1 of the Christian New Testament we are taught that 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth .... grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.'
We also learn in the Bhagavad-Gita that total devotion to Krishna will allow man to achieve eternal life and never know death again.
In the New Testament we learn that Christ is the the only way. '...that whosoever believeth in Christ should not perish, but have everlasting life.'
What does your logic tell you about this paradox?" The Master waited.
Chester licked his lips. "Here are two different religions revealing to us the creator of all things who, is also the way to achieve eternal life. Either one is a fraud or both are the same holy manifestation recorded at different times from two different cultural and historical viewpoints. The logic is clear and simple."
The Master announced, "The Krishna of Ancient Hinduism is the Christ of Christianity. Christ comes from the Greek word Christos, and Christos is the Greek version of the word Krishna. When an Indian person calls on Krishna, he often says "Krista." Krishna is a Sanskrit word meaning the object of attraction." So when we address God as "Christ," "Krista," or "Krishna," we indicate the same all-attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead. When Jesus said, "Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name," that name of God was Krista or Krishna. "Christ" is simply another way of saying "Krista," and "Krista" is another way of pronouncing Krishna."

The soul is a spark of GOD. Law of KARMA is very clear, that soul is here for experience and to burn its karma(negative and positive deeds)from its previous births. To be born now and all the experience, good or bad, is due to our own direct action in previous life. CHRIST ressurection was to remind mankind, soul by winning over death shall come back ,as he promised to do so, to save other soul. And in deapth knowledge in divinity the RELIGION GIVES WAY TO SPRITUALITY ,where all the souls will hang on to similar line of truth the GOD delivers on a one to one basis. BARAKA BASHAD.

It is interesting how songs of different religions will sound the same when read in English, Latin, Tamil etc..
As is the case of the Jai Jagadeesha Hare aaratthi or the aaratthi I wrote for Amma. When I sing it in Hindi, it sounds as it is a Hindu hymn, which it is. Translated into and sung in English, it will sound more like a Christian hymn. I sang my aaratthi for Amma in English to someone and they said it much reminded them of the litanies for Mother Mary. This definately confirms that all religions are but different paths to the One God or in my case, Divine Mother.

The omnipresence, omnisience and omnipotence of God is divided among all human beings. We humans, can never realize Godhead individually until we identify with the God in each human being regardless of race or religion. The forest can never be real without individual trees.
