Hi,
I wanted to find out if the Nairs and Brahmins are somehow related or have had any relations or connections with each other during their evolution. I'd be grateful if anyone could enlighten me on this topic.

  You still did not give me a satisfactory reply. Nairs and Christians in Eranaklam look same to me. Only, the latter (Christians) have a slightly fairer skin, probably because they mostly work indoor. I am a keen observer of malyalis and am living in Kochin for the last two years, and have some interest in Anthropology.
  It is my firm belief that the two groups originated from the same DNA soup.
  What do you think?

  I don't know what kind of nairs you see in kochi to compare them with the christians. If you find both of them similar looking..well and good....let it be like that!
  I am not talking about the hopeless nair community....go to famous tharavads or illams before you make such a comment. Nowadays, even a barber is considered to be a Nair which are the main flaws of our constitution. I can't help it.
  Never compare the high family Nairs to any stupid community below them. I don't know anything about anthropology. Sorry!..Perhaps you could try out what I said above. I don't personally consider any other race other than Aryans. (High caste Brahmins and Nairs)
