There seems to be so much negativity around here about India, that one feels that if all north , south,west or east Indians feel this way about each other. then this country is sure to perish. Shouldn't we all stand up as one and love our Mother India? Why are we killing our country? Can't we forget our differences and work together for the land where we were born? This thread is only for those who pray for and wish a secure and united India. Feel free to write what you think is going wrong between people of different religions and races, and what should be done to make us all unite ...as we were in 1947

  We are only acting in ways that reflect the intentions of foreign Muslims who planted the seeds of discord among us during their thousand years of trying to enslave us.
  
  Although foreigh Muslims destroyed our pristine way of life over a period of one thousand years, we remain free from bitterness about it as if it never happened.
  
  The mistake we continue to make is to behave as if we have forgotten about it. We need to remember it, and teach our children about their glorious past. We must vow never to allow this to happen again while at he same time learning to live in peace but watching over our shoulders all the time.
  
  We must study our history and learn from it, vowing never to let to be united and strong like the Jews now do. We can learn more about our past from the Hindu Holocaust Museum.

  When was this "India" united?, only after the british invasion, we should thank the british for uniting us inspite of the various differences.(Language,caste,religion).

  BAB this is me once again. From what I gather from your comments you seem to be intolerant of muslims. You talk of them as foreigners whereas i think it is time to makepeace and for hindus and muslims to peacefully coexist as Indians.

  No, I do not speak about Indian Muslims as foreigners. I speak about Hindus growing strong and united to protect themselves and their country from divisions.
  
  Some sects of Islam believe they must never be ruled by non Muslims. The evidence is right there in India. When they grow strong in numbers they want to govern themselves. Is the evidence not there or do you want to pretend it did not happen and is not happening in Kashmir?
  
  If you are seeking another religion and way of life, then by all means forget the history of India under the rule of foreign Muslims.

  this jerk whit guy is trying to prove sanskrit is herbew and the herbew today is the authentic, original sanskrit. check this out:

  I have inferred from Kersten's comments that he believes Kashmiri did not spring from Sanskrit. I disagree. When I was culling out Hebrew words from Grierson's Dictionary of the Kashmiri Language, I discovered that there are many more Sanskrit words in Kashmiri than Hebrew terms. However, I do agree that the Hebrews made more than a notable contribution to this little-known tongue.
