In other religions, section/layer classification exist which one can break down by his hardwork and truimph as any other in that society after meeting his level of challenges.
In Hinduism, whatever hardwork you do, if you are a parayan, you can never become equal to a brahmin because the discrimination is birth related which you can never undo.
With such a burden, how a parayan at any time feel his self-respect?
Conversion is imperative here to bring this parayan up from his birth-bondage.
Conversion is not necessary as and when such caste system/varnashram is totally removed from our system.
Readers, your opinions please.

"get oppressed by the cultural high caste hindus or accept the hindu philosophy."
Indian,
what time are you in? With the reservation system, and government quotas for Low Castes, I think it's the high castes that are getting oppressed now. If people really want equal rights in society then the reservation system should be removed first.

I think this Anti conversion law is against Fundamental rights. The reason why Hindus are getting converted is simple----------------They have come to know about the true God or it is like they have been supressed too much in Hinduism like the caste system. It was the Brahmins who had started the system and Now they suffer. What you sow, You reap !

Veeran, are you aware that the Gita is a reform of our ancient scriptures?
Avatars come and go according in our religious traditions, and our scriptures, as ancient as they may be are updated by the teachings of these Avatars.
Now, if you want to hold on to the old ways that is your business, but don't say that is what we must be always live by.
Anything that the Gita says that may be contrary to some ancient scripture like Sastras is now authority, unless of course you believe that all acient scriptures hold true even up to today.

India Before The British Came
Lord McCauley in his speech of Feb 2, 1835, British Parliament
"I have traveled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the
very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and, therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self-esteem, their native self-culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation."

Indeed, many Indians have lost their self esteem, and now they are becoming Christians like the very Christians who stole their self esteem away from them, and taught them how to steal as part of their religion.
So, Christian Indians have learned to steal like their masters, the Christians who taught them and modeled stealing to them. These Indians are now better thieves than the Christians. How well we learn!!

caste systems is every where, for your information catholics dont treat others like mormons the same way, sieate muslims dont treat sunny muslims as equals, and vice versa, even some times people of different color are not treated the same way, This itself is a caste system. caste is available in every religion irrespective of the country you are living in.
we should'nt care if somebody is converting to some other religion, Because still hinduisam has its own uniqueness. If they doublt thier birth religion,it is thier problem, Let them go. They will soon relalize the caste system exsists in cristians too, they will not be treated they same way as other "original" cristians. But dont take it wrong, I am against treating anybody indifferent based on race , color,or caste. But if the people themselfs feel weak and lower then nobody can rectify except "You".
