I have already proved in the thread “Does God Exist?” that Vedanta – the founding pillars of the Hinduism – is a fraudulent, illogical and biased religious doctrine from the beginning.
Time and again, I have proved that the concept of “Atma/Brahman”, the precondition that must be satisfied for one to generate thoughts and feel conscious, is unsupported by both the real life experiences and science.
The concept of “Atma/Brahman” collapses both under the logical scrutiny as well under the overwhelming evidences produced by neurological sciences, rejecting the precondition of “Atma/Brahman”
As soon as this precondition is removed from the equation and chucked into the trash bin, people will instantly be freed from the centuries old mental and psychological captivity under the heedless, illusory and fraudulent concept of “Atma/Brahman”, which could never exist; and so can’t exist the binding cycle of rebirth, caste and karma.
Terminate the illusions of “Atma/Brahmanl”, the Indian society will still exist. There is absolutely no qualification for any self-deceptive imagination of “Brahman”. The imaginative/illusive “Atma/Brahman” is redundant/dispensable.
So far I have expressed my viewpoints about the interrelationship between religious beliefs (also beliefs in god) and intellectual development of the people, through descriptive and attributive reasoning, and as there are exceptional cases, it is difficult for many to see how the interactive process works at a macroscopic level.
Assume a group of people (or society), consisting of a large number of people having varying level of intellectual abilities and also constrained by the same social, cultural and religious norms (or beliefs). If we assign the quantifying figure for all these social, cultural and religious norms (or beliefs) and call it the “Binding Factor” then,
(Binding factor) x (Spread of intellectual abilities) = Constant
In other words, the Spread of intellectual abilities is inversely proportional to the Binding factor. Higher the value of Binding factor, less will be the spread of intellectual abilities in the group (or society). If one can collect sufficient observational and statistical data across the social spectrum, one would see how and why some factors are more binding than others and how they restrict the intellectual development of a large section of people and yet some people remain less or least affected.
The relationship,
(Binding factor) x (Spread of intellectual abilities) = Constant,
This simple equation (I have derived a formal proof of this equation) extraordinarily holds the crucial answers to what is being discussed here and also to the future intellectual abilities of the entire humanity.
After some efforts, I have managed to compile a list of the “Binding Factors” that I believe restricts the Indian SIA. The list is under two main categories, namely.
1. Religion
2. Conventional thinking
Under religion, I have identified several factors, which manifested as direct or indirect by-products of heedless religious preaching to the masses for centuries.
In order to keep the population of futile, indolent, destructive and embroiled people low, religion was historically preached to the masses to an extent to secure blind obedience of people through the fear of punishment of “Hell” for the “Bad” people and reward of “Heaven” for the “Good” people. But over the time, religion has given rise to many social rigidities or “Binding Factors”, such as:
1. Misconception of human intelligence or mental ability
2. Religious rivalry leading to blind accommodation and countless inventions of gods and goddesses.
3. Wide spread blind beliefs in god(s), fate, births, rebirths, soul liberation, reincarnations etc.
4. Unquestionable devotion and duty towards phony “Sadhus” and “Sants”
5. Wide spread Superstitions
6. Gender discriminations.
7. Caste system, resulting from the concept of division of duty.
8. Ignorance
9. Illiteracy
10. Over population
Conventional thinking stems its roots from culture, attitude traditions; and to a certain extent, from religious teaching. All of these were invented and learnt over a long period of time
Primarily, conventional thinking demands people’s behaviours in strict conformance with the norms of society, culture and traditions and due to regional differences and misconceptions; it gave rise to some of the very serious social rigidities or “Binding Factors” such as:
1. Language problems
2. Moral corruption
3. Political corruption
4. Regional conflicts
5. Social and political chaos
6. Social discord
7. Disunity
8. Tribes
9. Skills and productivity were limited to agricultural activities only
All these factors were at work over a long period of time and some over centuries in forming the Indian social filter, through which people were required to pass, and there were no criteria for intellectual excellence. The transitional characteristic of the filter was defined by the religious masters and social leaders who themselves possessed similar “abilities” and “qualities” and the social filter so designed, had such a steep transitional characteristics (due to above listed “Binding Factors”) that the majority of people could pass the selection criteria.
Language differences prevented peoples’ mobility. Uses of country’s human as well as natural resources remained inefficient. Information flow and their records on social, cultural, political and similar issues were restricted to a selected few privileged figures only. There was no inter-state collaboration and co-ordination, and social planning was minimal, creating an unsynchronised society, hampering the overall growth of the society, which kept people disunited.
Such immature modes of behaviour and adoption of illogical ways of thinking was leading to the formation of a society that was destined to ruins.
The social segregation was turned into diversity. Dissonance factors were adjusted as suited the regional leaders, creating separate SIAs for each regions and cultures. A nation was formed consisting of several states, without common goals, without coherent & consolidated approach, with different priorities, without a communal language and as a result, the overall national distribution sustained the problems of poor interaction, weak interfaces, lack of compatibility and many other disparities among people. Finally resulting into an intolerant national distribution, without national identity, giving rise to regional nationalism. No economic ties among regions were established. Innovation and creativity remained as alien concepts.
As the entire Indian population was previously stuck into some bizarre and obscured mental processes, which effectively entangled the entire Indian population in a state that there were little intellectual activities in the fields of science, technology and other advanced fields. The resulting lack of evolution in the Indian languages in dealing with such advanced subjects has left a big hole in the Indian thought process. As a result, our past and present reliance on English in acquiring advanced knowledge has further left the general Indian public (mainly the rural and poor people, accounting for more than 70% of the total population) totally out of touch with the advances in knowledge, seriously affecting the Indian SIA. Only less than 5% of Indian population are in touch with what is really going on in the world and some 25% just know that something is going on and we have to move along.
People are deeply troubled and trapped in their own contradicting and inconsistent statements and false concepts preached in a variety (in fact, a variety of all-inclusive trash) of the Hindu religious literature. The result is obvious; people become schizophrenic and demonstrate:
A sever form of denial disorder in which they distort their perceptions, thoughts, languages and emotions.
A sever form of dissociation reactions, which can result in several independent personalities being manifested.
False beliefs, which they maintain, despite of the clear evidences to the contrary.
False perceptions in the absence of relevant sensory stimuli, such as hearing voices, seeing objects or experience the presence of an entity that doesn’t exist.
Distortion of thinking process, such as violations of logic, incoherent statements and inappropriate shifts in expressions.
As a result, people don’t honestly accept their failures in grasping the realities of the entire situation and the root causes leading to the failures in acknowledging the existence of a centuries old problem with the system.
Therefor I it must become obviously clear to any person with a little bit of thinking ability, the falsehood in the origin of the caste system, for which the Hindu religion has no validating cause whatsoever..
