can anybody enlighten the people on impact of avvaiyar on tamil culture and behaviour.

well .. I don't really know how many auvais are there but there must be three to four of them. I heard that to help Humanity and Tamil language to grow , she prayed for an old woman form and got it due to the blessings of Lord Ganesha

1. avvai of athigamAn time - 2nd century AD (CE)
2. avvai of angavai/sangavai time
3. avvai of sEramAn perumAn time - 8th century AD
4. avvai of kambar time - 12th century AD
5. avvai who wrote aRivai kuRal - 14th century AD
6. avvai who wrote AthiccUdi, kondrai vEnthan, nalvazhi, moothurai etc - 16th century AD
7. avvai who wrote panthananthAthi - 17th century AD
