hi all,

in school, i have read about aryans coming into india as nomads. that they had a village oriented civilization. Their main leader/god was Indra (that their leaders were all called Indras). dravidians had city culture and that their primary god was Lord Siva.

Nowadays, I see some people saying that Aryan Invasion theory is not true and that its false. When i did a google search, I found out that most sites that support this thoery are hindu religion oriented sites and they almost sound defensive. Also, they almost always quote Dinesh Agarwal and David Farley (he has another name, some swamiji).

i have read some bookes of indian historians and similar authors. they always say that aryan invasion theory is true. I personally feel that this argument carries more weight.

I just need to know what is accepted by scholors. Not just some sites or some people who are not historians and archeological people. if someone can tell me what is accepted by archeologists and historians currently, it would be great.

thanks,
