I recently saw the "indian" movie starring kamalhassan. In this movie, there is a very brief black and white scene of kamalhassan and his fellow freedom fighters of subash chandra bosh's indian national army battling the brits in the jungle.

In this black and white scene, it seems to me that the indian national army were wearing khaki coloured uniforms during the battle in the jungle.

During the freedom fighting days, did subash's army wore khaki uniforms in jungle warfare? It don't make any sense, right?

Did the brits wore khaki uniforms too?
