Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that Kairali and Surya are on Dish Network now. My parents got it, so whenever I go home I watch shows from Kerala. If anyone is interested and living in the U.S you should call up Dish Network now, because they are having a promotional sale. We live in Florida and my parents and I were very happy that these channels came on Dish Network, I'm hoping that Asianet and Jeevan will also join with Dish Network, instead of staying on the T5 satellite.
If anyone is interested here is the info.
If you sign up for Kairali and Surya with the American Top 50 channels you can get the channels all together for $49.99 monthly. You have to pay $149 first for one of the satellites, because two satellites are needed; one for international channels and one for american channels. If you also want local channels it is an extra $5.00.
If you don't want to get the American Top 50 channels and only Kairali/Surya then you pay $49.99 monthly, but you must pay $200 dollars up front for the international satellite.
Also Dish Network has other south asian channels like: Zee T.V., B4U, TV Asia, Sony T.V, Zee Gold, and Sun T.V.
Finally Indians in the U.S, can keep up to date with Indian news and Entertainment. :)

  i am from new york and its $100 for the super dish that locates signal from 3 orbits.. plus $14.99 for surya/kairali and if u don't sign up for the american channels pay extra 5 bucks every month as a service fee.. its cheaper than getting asianet and both channels are better than asianet

  Hello jibi looks intresting. since u r already a subscriber can u explain the details?? It maybe different in NY, and in IL but how much are u paying per month, and for how many channels?? Does each international channels has separate charges or does it come in a package?

  hello vince long time no talk .. its good man but if u want to get american channels the minimum is $24.99 + international channel price ...
  
  what i did was i brought the super dish and took only surya ..its $14.99+$5 extra fee per month.. chicago might have the same rate ..each international channel is $14.99 ..and kailrali and surya is available by dish net ..asianet and jeevan is aired by asianet.co and its intial payment is expensive

  i signed up for kairali/surya for 24.95 and no cost for the dish. i already had the kairali dish, we just replaced with a universal LNB. If anybody is interested in kairali/surya or gemini and lives in dallas, please email me(shelly_v@hotmail.com) I can get you a good deal.
