  365 days odichal madhiyo? adhu kaanan alkar vende... as per latest collections it will not even reach Pattalams collection from the main centers...
  
  Cost wise it may have cost more than even Pattalam as it has been delayed by more than 3 years... this would have added to the cost enormously ...
  
  So the race for the movie that has created most loss in the year 2003 is a close one between Pattalam and W&L... :)

  Most producers who have made movies with Lal come back to Lal... thats because even if a movie is not a major commerial success it will either break-even or make a small loss... very few have been complete disasters (Onnaman)... but if the movie is a hit its bumper time...

  As an example Check out Sargam Kabeer inspite of not having to deal with something like Chakram getting canceled after a months shoot....

  Frankly I feel Vinayan should be banned from directing another Malayalam movie. The plot is atrocious - the cast bleak in terms of character match, and he has tried to used the feelings of patriotism to create commercial gold. Frankly, I sort of half-liked his "Shipai Lahala", but he has dissappointed on a mammoth scale ever since.
  
  In my view he spoiled the image of Kalabhavan Mani in Malayali's minds (remember Vaasanthiyum,... and the award-kittanjittu-bodham-kedal fiasco?) He tried to encash Mammootty's star value in "Rakshasaraajavu", and tried cheap computer gimmicks in his horror-comedy (horrible comedy?) "Aakaashaganga". Tell me - what is HIS input in any of his movies? I mean we all know the calibers of the actors involved. Other than just channelising this innate talent to the script (?), he has not contributed anything. And that is merely an MBA man's job. The question is, where is the ARTIST that we are looking for?. WHAT is his art?
  
  Questions galore! The answer is merely that he is an additional burden on the ailing industry's shoulders, and should be BANNED....
