2 musicians to look out for the new century,, the former has already started waving a new era while the latter has to strike yet with a big hit... Rahman just completed his chinese venture Warriors of Heaven and Earth... while Vidya's Beyond the Soul (english) has been gaining reputation.. Vidya's best works came out in malayalam.. he has not been accepted well in tamil and telugu... A.R.Rahman has got in hand almost 10 big projects which is going to be a slap on his critics..His Boys in tamil has created a new history... how do you rate these musicians

  Its ARR.... the only ARR of indian film music industry.
  
  He finished WOHE and now doing Lord of Rings.
  
  His latest album Tehzeeb is a malodious one.

  ARR is somewhere else...
  No body can be compared to him..
  He is a music technichian..

  rehman is rehman thats true .. but vs very good too i think most of the people missed out his good songs in tamil espec from movies karna,priyam,uyirodu uyirga,nilave vaa etc .. he is doing films kinda average only i like run and couple of numbers from parthipan kanave ..also he getting good offers in tamil espec the rajani film chandramughi (remake of manichitrthazhe) and a film produced by boni kappor in hindi ..when he does music for malayalam its sounds special .. his orchest and style differs in tamil and mal

  vidyasagar is as best as ARR...both are equally talented.... because they r doing equally ...in all lang. ....wishing them all the best 4 their upcoming films...:)

  How can you say VS is as good as ARR? I cant find any similiarity at all.
  
  ARR is a 4 times National Award winner and numerous filmfare awards. Did VS win any?
  
  ARR has worked in hindi and has given chart busters there. Did VS do it? I think the recent Hulchul is VS's 1st hindi movie. Listen to it and you will understand how pathetic it is.
  
  VS has copied 3 Arabic songs without any modification to tamil. Did ARR do that?
  
  ARR is the 1st Indian composer to work in a Chinese Movies. Can VS can ever dream of that?
  
  ARR is the only composer with Padmashree award. Will VS ever get that?
  
  These are only some of ARRs acheivements. Still if you think VS is as 'best' as ARR, man you have some serious illness.
