  film music of tamilan and kathale swasam scored by young musician imman.he is having potential to become a good musician.songs in tamilan are alike muthalvan but not a copied one.the songs are pop like.and some are very good.in kathale swasam,the songs are excellent.especially melodious no.s like kathale ...and manam vallikude....and there are complete western tunes like groovy guys and sokude kadal...and one rap song "machi kadhal ..."and one pop no. "summa iru" all are diiff and very good to listen.
  hey do u know music director vidhyasagar has nick name of "REHMAN OF KERELA"AND i agree with that,he is very goood in blending melodies with
  western and he is very good composer.i think he is doing 4 films now in tamil, run,k.b's movie,power of women,nallathor kadhal seithen and etc also"dubbed hit-vikky "coming here.all speaking about A.R.R and IR excellence with out noting the good music scored by him in past few years

  They all kind of stink .. yeah they keep fighting between Rahman and IR .. both stink...just lot of "autorikshaw" aped music. Tamil will compete hard with Hindi music in lowest signal to noise ratio.

  Hands down Guru Ilayaraaja is the best composer. Period. His virtuosity and innovation has no paralells. If you go by how many albums have been sold or how much money is paid, N'sync is being paid more than Lionel Richie. But N'sync is a passing fad, but not lionel.
  
  Did someone say tamil music will compete with hindi music in signal to noise ratio ?
  
  Hindi music has completely vanished after 70's. Killers, murderers and the mafia, donning gucci and georgio armani suits compose hindi music today. Probably they can try their hand in Palermo, Italy and say.."Hey we went international"

  can u tell me one who does not copies...ms viswanadtahn,illayaraja ,ar reheman through all the musicians who has scored for movies has copied or inspired some of their songs from other sources..but i only find yei shabba as copied and his songs are haunting melodies espeically in mallu...if u accept a md like tht way ...who would u accept ???can u name one who doesn't inspire or copy songs...
