the first review of kcm says its a good movie . but not extraordinary as we thought of .. the movie lacks fresh script

  pakshe kilichudane kaalum valya vijayam aanu CB ennokke parayunnavante dhairyam namichu kodukkanam! kilichundan isn't a classic, pakshe it's much much better than this appooppan's attempt at comedy. and any way, as someone said here, why is CB referred to as appooppan's film? it's clearly mukesh who scores in the film.
  
  kilichundan doesn't have the kind of comedy we are used to from the lal-priyan combination. it's more of a love story, set in a serious backdrop. it may not be very entertaining, but it's still a good movie, unlike CB, which depends entirely on crass antics in the name of comedy. and everybody knows that kilichundan is a bigger hit. aah, ini korey ennam varum gokarnathu CB superhit aanu uganda il mammootty superstar aanennokke paranju. poyi neetti oru ooo_mbu vechu kodu malgunaakshanmaare.

  maravathoor was released in 1998 ..and i think u don't remember valeyttan ..i think it was successful right..and mfm 'varshangal' means is right ..after 2001 onam lal didn't had any successful movie untill 2003 ..thats means last 4 releases were flop(more than a year) i mean before mr.b ..

  Onnaman, Chathurangam all these movies weren't huge hits from lal, but made big profits for the producers.

  wht vince ..but onnaman made huge loses to the prod/dist the movie just collected 1.40 cores in 4 months .. actually t. kannathanam just did the movie to pay all the debuts he haded with couple of movies he produced ..and the producer played with him as i heard from shogun mohan ... the producer and director said they shot abt 118000 feet films ..even expensive shankar or maniratnam movie will not use half of the films ...producer r.govindankutty put 1.5 core ..and he took 1.5 from shogun also .. and shogun stated that the collection was just 1.40 in 3 or 4 months ... so how come onnaman made profits for producer/dist .
  
  and abt chadurangam i don't have to tell u right ..even lal said it was flop ..where do u get the info..i was in kerala tht time and in 30 days the movie shifted to b theature ...i went to watch it and the movie was playing empty housed man ..
  
  i know u going to argue tht the movie had good intial collections ...intial collection is holds only for 1 week or so ..and it will go after how the movie is ..u know wht happ to thandavam right ..its opened with biggest intial ..but went reverse in the 3rd day .. big chacks like shogun mohan or johny sagarika will not be effected by this flops ..but the biggest impact will happen to the new/small producers like firoze who produced chadurangam

  I saw KCM. Movie is Watchable..There are some superb perfomances from Sreeni,Thilakan & Seema..
  
  But to my surprise Mohanlal totally disappoints..
  I really dont know what exactly happen to him.May be due to his over weight..or may be he wont suite the role..This is not the Mohanlal who had given his magic touch to almost all of his movies..Really Really some thing wrong abt his perfomance in KCM!!! I hope he will Assess his perfomance in the movie and found out what went wrong..I hope Still I see his Magic touch in his coming movies..

  movie fan the problem with kcm was good script ..u know the script just writed and made it to present a lal movie for vishu .they should wait for onam and let mr.b get all the collections ..but i think they wanted to compete with cb thats why
  
  first of all the kcm script was first written by
  priyan then lal found similar to an hollywood movie tht lal saw recently ..so he told priyan to change it ..they wanted to make a fresh style ..but failed to do so ..i thought the script was done by sreeni but the title show tht screenplay,dialoge and direction by priyan ..sreeni might helped him to do the screenplay ...the main problm were the role didn't fitted well with lal and lack of good screenplay ...anyway its not a big hit ..i heard eventhough balettan is launched and scheduled to release for onam ..they might tend to put another movie in tht place .. don't know they will put renji panicker movie bec he takes long time to finish the script

  KCM is a flop in Malabar belt.But atlast a Mohanalal movie crossed 50 days and initial collections were great.But it is sad to see a low quality movie Thilakkam is getting much better collections than KCM even in TVM.Brahmachari barely completed 50 days.What happened to people in Kerala?Do they hate Mohanalal?
