THESE ARE THE TOP-3 NOMINATIONS THIS YEAR

1.KUMAR SANU FOR ISHK WISHK PYAAR VYAAR: title song of the movie ishk wishk.

-this song has incredible range, starting with the deep Kumar sanu baritone, it reaches a shrill pich in no time (i am a professional singer....but this song is damn tough...try singing it).

-the antara 'dil hai deewaana, dil ka fasana' is sung so soft and romantically by kumar sanu, again, incredible variation in the voice.

-this song is part of the album which gave a movie full of newcomers an incredible opening. ultimately this ken ghosh/tips venture became the first hit of this year, and kumar sanu deserves an filmfare for being instrumental in the success of this debutant team and making shaahid kapoor a household name.

2.KUMAR SANU FOR KISI SE TUM PYAAR KARO -again, an example of singing par excellence...the movie was not too good, but the incredible popularity of the songs made it a hit.

-raj kanwar and suneel darshan were given a new lease of life after delivering duds like 'ab ke baras' and 'talaash'.... movies which didn't even make a ripple at the box office.

-sanu da deserves the award for reviving two faltering banners with incredible one block-buster song.

-recently i attended a Indian Doctors Association diwali party, here in birmingham, UK, and the orchestra performing sang old evergreen songs, but only one new song....any guesses??...kisi se tum pyaar karo.

-kumar sanu's soulful singing knows no barriers, everyone...wether in bairagarh, or in birmingham can associate with sanu da's soulful voice...and thats why he deserves the award.

3.KUMAR SANU FOR WOH LADKI BAHUT YAAD AATI HAI

-the same story once again, a faltering banner , with a string of 'nightmares' behind it, hit jackpot due to sanu da's golden voice.

-in this song, sanu da sings a relatively fast number, but still maintains the softness and emotion in his voice...very much like' sochenge tumhein pyaar karen ki nahin', any other singer singing this song would have made it time-pass song, but sanu da has woven magic into it.and thats why he deserves a filmfare for it.

in contrast the other singers piggy-backed their way to success. udit(koi mil gaaya),abhijeet(chalte chalte) and sonu(kal ho na ho) , sang songs which would have been hit regardless of who sang them, due to the big banner and starcast.....no doubt one of them could win the award...but i dont think they deserve it .
