Venugopal was a good singer. He had a number of good songs in late 80's and early 90's.he had received state awards also. but he was expelled from the film industry. recently he had complained about the 'groups' or lobies in the malayalam film industry. he might have lost chance because of that. I expect more discussion on the fate of Sri. Venugopal

  I dont think, venu has been expelled from the industry. the thing is that he has very less number of chances. recently the song in "mullavalliyum......", thamaranoolinaal is a good number. happy to know that there are some one like BK who loves venu. happy to meet you. I'm an ardent fan of venu and I'm currently doing my mca.
