When we talk about 'the best' in malayalam film field, rarely Suresh Gopi's name come into picture. So, I am starting this thread to discuss his best(donot compare with best of big M's) performances

This is what I think:
His best roles : Ekalavyan - Madhavan IPS
Innale,
Ee thanutha velluppan kalathu,
Lelam
best comedy role : Sundarapurushan

I like his dialogue delevery compared to Mammootty / Lal.

  Thirakkathakrithu 'Pha Pulle' ennezhuthi vechal athu parayenda reethiyil parayuka ennullathannu nadante joli.
  Enthayalum dialogue delevery -yepatti njan paranjathu ee dialogue ne pattiyalla.
  For example: mammootty, lal and suresh gopi has acted in movies written by Renji Panicker. My view is that Suresh Gopi was better in dialogue delevery than the other 2 in these movies.

  He did reasonably well in "Oru vadakkan veeragaadha", "Innale", "1921", "Paithrukam" etc. Of course, he gave a new dimension to the IPS officer roles in movies. "Ekalavyan" and "Commissioner" saw some thakarppan performances from our very own angry young man.

  I saw sivam today, a pretty good politics movie, with lots of true moments. but Biju menon was only good at the first few scenes. Movie wasn't loud as shajis previous poliec movies. also it didn't have any long dialouges. Good direction.

Shaji filmsil aaram thamburanil vare saikumarinu sakthamayoru role aayirunnu. athilum kidilan role aanu ithil. gambheeram. Kalakki ennu paranjal sai kumar kalakki. Malayala cinimayil valare kaalathinu shesham oru villain role superb aakkiyittondu pulli. He was the only one actor in that movie. NF Vargheese also performed so well.

  Suresh Gopi -- the wooden face of Malayalam films.

  Suresh gopi's performance is good but there is a need of a music in his acting.His voice does not resemble to yesudas's or sreekumar's.If jayachandran sing for him,it will be best.P.JAYACHANDRAN is best singer in India.If he sings for suesh,that film will become popular

  suresh gopi is a good actor with a lot of short comings. His acting is so poor when it comes in to comedy. His expressions clearly show that he is really 'ACTING' and it is becoming a flop. Sundarapurushan was one of those movies.
  
  Again, other than action movies, he is a real flop and he is not at all improving his skill if he has any.
