  I am from AP. I feel P.Suseela is the best.
  The clarity, depth in her voice is not comparable to others.
  
  She is best for trageyd, solo, duets( love, sympathy) etc. & she isthe one who suits for janpada(folk) & mythological movies the best which is other's negative point.

  I feel that PS is undoubtedly the best. Her voice is divine. Words simply cannot do justice to describe the impact her music and voice has on people. S.Janaki is certainly good as are Sudha Raghunatha and others.

  i am from A.P. Smt.P.Suseela's voice is very good.
  Why she was not received "Padmasri". She sung nearly 35,000 above songs (am I correct) in all indian languages. Why South Indian female singers are neglected. Why such a good siger like P.Suseela was neglected by Govt.

  P. Susheela is the best of all singers in India. She is the queen of all queens. Her way of expressing moods is unbeatable even by Latha.
  
  If Latha had sung tamil songs in parallel with P. Susheela, she would have only been no. 2 after Susheela. Luckily she remained in the north to maintain the no. 1 status for she was in a position to swim along the wide popularity waves of hindi films.
  
  S. Janaki too is very good. But Susie is Susie.
  
  I regard P. Susheela as 'Goddess of Melodies'.
