  no,jibi.Devadoothan,Mithunam ,both are good movies and above average,but in the box-office they were flops.Mohanlals bad movies like Praja and kakakuyil were average hits.sradha ettavum thara padam made money from box office.but sadayam,devadoothan,kamladalam,mithunam were flopsThus tell me jibi ,how is it possible?pinne kunchakoyude case 1998-l anu sambhavichathu.pinne njan paranjittundu i m not sure ennu.

  i understand mahesh i did like devadoothan but people rejected it ...i don't think mithunam is a flop .. the movies tht were flops of priyadarshan are megham and minnaram .thats wht i heard...
  
  i can't answer tht .. and noone can answer it ... sometimes good movies get bombed and average movies get good collection ... it happens very rare ..

  Mithunam was not a hit. But I am sure it is not a flop either. Devasuram was released 1 week after Mithunam. That did the damage for Mithunam. It was MohanLal's home production.
  Minnaram is not a flop. It was released along with Sainyam (Mammootty-Mukesh-Vikram-Dileep), but collected more than Sainyam.

  u think i am stupid blunder ... look man this topic was abt mr.branmachari and i never wrote something to disrespect lals or mammokkas acting..
  i never said tht lal and mammookas acting is boring .. i just put the review of branmachari .. the review is from sify..and they wrote bad abt it .i didn't even watch the movie .. i didn't even write anything aganist it .. and i only said i am not confidence bec of dir thulasidas.. .. so some of them here try to put dileep in to this mix...

  i saw the film in london 2day.i really cant say it was brilliant. jst another so so film really. what amazed me was the crowd. the cinema (the big cinema 1 at boleyn,east ham) was 80% full.this means they will probably show more mallu films.
  
  if anybody here has seen the film... can u tell me the name of the actress who plays the tamil girl (the one who's father is lal's guru). r any of meena's sister famous. they did a good job.

  thanx jibi. yes ...its jagathy's film all the way. the way mohanlal is going and......what happened to mallu script writers...and there was a time atleast one song in a film would be hummable. for the FIRST time in my life i actually went and bought a tea during a song sequence!!!!
