I have seen the movie in the releasing day. Not much rush as we expected for a Mohanlal movie. The film is watchable. Just above average. It is not going to be a superhit, but will definitely be a hit. Vinu has successfylly moulded it evenif there is no novelty in the story line. Balettan is a blend of yesteryears hit movies like Vaalsalyam, Thachiledathu Chundan etc.. But the surprise is that the film is packed with lot of situation comedies and the climax is having a Sidhiq (Lal) touch. Ofcourse, Mohan Lal tried his best to regain his charm, but the real entertainer is the ever green Jagathy Sreekumar. The films fate will be decided by the coming releases like Pattalam and Swapnakkoodu.

  I saw Balettan.It is very very good film by Mohanlal(Our lalettan).In the universe Only one Film actor.That's lalettan.His acting is un predictable.Now days Dileep is star.But we can think about his films.All are mimicry Films and also have bad touch.That is bad conversations and bad matters about womens.But Kavyamadhavan is a very good actor.Lalettan is core of World Cinema's

  Guys I am from Pune... just relocated to this place from Kochi. I am a great Lalettan fan.. but missed out this movie. I am afraid i wont be able to watch many of his movies from now. Just keep me posted about the status of Balettan. I wish I could watch it :-(
