Hey folks! I for one hate seeing movies taped over and over and over and .....so on.....
It ruins the print. When you go to the store though, the guy says: "oh it's from an original print" what dumb @$$es .....

I love the DVD format, though there are only a few Mallu flicks on DVD. The best movies aren't on DVD yet. Most Mallus I know though, would rather spend $2 on a tape rather than buy a DVD, or even watch it in the theater in full glory.

I emailed Surya and they said they are still trying to obtain rights.(Especially "Kireedam") We'll see how it goes!

  The other blockbusters are "Dhruvam" and "Kaalapani" that are on DVD! :)
