  Those who liked the film Swapnakoodu better than BOYS are loosers in the society.
  They just want to sit at home and do their homework obeying their parents.
  They don't want to come to know about the open world or how to enjoy life.

  those who liked Swapnakoodu better than boys are losers in society. Joe? I watched both movies and i at least could sit through watching swapnakoodu till bhavana dies but boys is totally different, there were so many times i wondered why am i here watching this movie. also if any of u watched mullavalliyum thenmavum i felt the same for that movie of wondering why i went and watched that movie. if u haven't seen mullavalliyum don't go see it. i think the better comparison will be when 4 The People comes out and it might be like boys and could be compared.

  it would be better if u guys dont speak about either of the movies. coz both the movies are different from each other.both are poles apart. swapnakudu as the name itself specifies is a dream ,projected on three guys staying at the girls place as p.g and helps them to rejoice in their life afetr their mother died. boys is about "breaking the rules" . following the youth. and lets just analyse that both the movies (exclude the songs from both of them) are extremely boring and dump in any case

  //what the hell did boys have it was full of crap. Shankar is crazy. I'm not saying Swapnakoodu was better but at least you could watch swapnakoodu without thinking what the hell is wrong with the director. Kamal is anyday a better director than Shankar ever will be//

  Why guyz you all are considering Boyz as a vulgar film??? It just shows wot is happening between the youth..We all are like tht,when we are with our friends.. I just wondered,by seeing tht how well Shankar know the pulse of the youth.It shows the Importance of friendship..I feel it is such a realistic movie ,eventhough it is presented as a fantacy type.Personally I feel,it is one of the best movie I had ever seen.. But just dont treat it as a vulgar film.
  It is quite natural,when 3 or 4 friends meet together,they will behave like tht only..Shankar had shown tht in the film in an excellent manner.
  
  While Swapna koodu is just a crap,which is inspired from an excellent movie Dil chahtha hai.

  Boys and Swapna Koodu were both timepass movies. Both had superb music.
  
  Swapna Koodu had a much better script and a much better story. Kunchacko Boban was a dull part in the movie as was prithviraj but Jayasurya, the fat guy(Abbas),Haneefa, Meera have all done their roles brilliantly.
  
  Boys is a terribly pathetic story. no story at all just wierd screenplay around superb music and Vivek's ecellent role as manickam. Nothing compared to Shankar's earlier blockbusters such as Mudhalvan or Indian or Gentleman.
