Hera Pheri is the hindi remake of Ramji Rav Speaking. I just watched both Ramji Rav & Hera Pheri again. The 1st time i watched hera pheri i was dissappointed with comparison to ramji rav speaking. The roles of Sai Kumar & Mukesh are done alright by Akshay Kumar & Sunil Shetty, but the role of Innocent isn't that well done by paresh rawal (although a lot of the north indians think that he did a good job). Vijayaraghavan's role isn't well done either,because the villian in hera pheri didn't always have some of the comical facial expressions that vijayaraghavan had.

THe music by S Balakrishnan is 1000 times better than Anu Malik's one for Hera Pheri.

Also Priyadarshan changed the story that Siddique Lal wrote where Ramji Rav speaking had the drama troop and hera pheri had the auto workshop, this keeps priyan from making a sequal (mannar mathai speaking) in hindi.

i think that priyadarshan could have made the film better if there were less songs and less importance of the love between sunil shetty and the actress.

  "Hera-pheri" waz a laugh-riot all the way.. I don't know what made u disappointed..
  
  I think both Akshay kumar and Paresh rawal gave a gud effort.. not so confident abt Suniel shetty. he was a miscast. and neither Tabu nor Rekha is worth a mention. music was a big let-down. never knew Anu malik can come up with something like that.
  
  it was ok that the story was taken 2 garage, bcos not 2oo many hindi audience vll b familiar with a drama theatre these days. Though, u can't think of a second part with this one, have heard reliable reports that the same team, Feroze-Priyan-Akki-Suniel-Paresh rawal r teamin up again 2 create a sequel 2 it. some reports say they r goin 2 work on the remake of godfather. eitherway, letz hope it'll b another enjoyable fare.
