  A fantastic film by Deepa Metha. This is the onl;y film that shows how Indian origin people Esp. Hindus were tortured in Pakistan after the partition. All other films have shown only the events in India. Also shows the sense of true patriotism among the Indians who lived in Lahore and th4e hatred they bore against the bloody british.

  I loved the film earth...it showed what the british and done to the indians..... it also shows how people from both religions were tortured..i thought amir khan did well in his role.

  I am months late to comment but this was a fantastic movie and I believe that it showed the torture of both Muslim and Hindu alike. The British were most definitely responsible for the slaughter that happened. It is too bad that no one seems to address the blame properly.

  the film was good but it is not true that pakistani people have killed indian hindu.it is false.so indian need to grow up.we need frdship not fight then why u release such awkward films
