What happened to MohanLal and Mammooty?

Both the actors lost the charisma?? Anyone try to find whats the reason behind this.... ? Is it the lack of story suiting to their image and age..???

True Kevin, what happened to Malayalam Films..should be the question...of course Mamooty and Lal cannot set standards for the mallu industry all the time. They have been around for more than 20 years...Right now, they are limping against the standards that they themselves set. We need more talent, better directors, better scripts, less 'thara' comedy.

A movie like Oomapenninu Uriyadapayyan reminded me of how low movies have stooped. That movie was more like those late 70's vulgar flicks.

Lal and Mammooty are the last super stars of Malayalam Cinema. Even though, dileep is the most marketable star now, it may be over within short time. The real problem is the with treatment of the film. No new directors come with the new trend, they always depend on same story
