Nadodi kattu, Pattana Pravesham & Akkare Akkare Akkare - could we list some of the funny lines/situations in these 3 movies? I can't recall most of the dialogues so I'm hoping that others here might...
For starters, in Pattana Pravesham, Mohanlal attempts to get a blood sample from the bird watcher (prime suspect) in a restaurant - he keeps jabbing the waiter with the syringe

I always remember the scene from Nadodi kaattu. Paalkaran Paalu kondu poovum pullide kooli aayittu appo srineevasan parayum " VAKKADA AVIDE" enikku orikkalum marakkan pattillatha scene aanathu. Srineevasante thirinju ninnittulla noottavum, face expressionum was soo superbb.

is it in Pattana Pravesham that when they arrive at the crime scene, Mohanlal asks the local police for a photograph of the victim and Sreenivas says " Kolayaliude photo kittiyalum kollam " or something to that effect ?

And in pattana pravesham, mohanlal and srinivasan, after an attack in their house by someone, was able to get hold of one 'cheruppu' of the fellow who attacked him. Srinivasan says...

great scenes/dialogues everyone is posting - very funny. Sreenivas does have unforgettable facial expressions which make his dialogues even funnier -
In Akkare Akkare Akkare, Sreenivas is so keen to tag along for the overseas trip, he says he will put up with anything Mohanlal says to him

Actually two bits come to mind... In Pattana Pravesham Srinivas (in disguise) takes Thilakan (also in disguise) to a godown in his cycle. They don't recognize each other and both speak in this high pitch squeaky voice. The dialogue goes something like this...(not exact)
S: Saare, nammude rendu perudeyium shabdam onnupole undallo.
T: Thande naadu evideya
S: ***
T: Aaa, ende acchanu pandu avide oru chaya kada undayirunnoo.
Then there is the chloroform gag in the same movie.

lal and sreeni suspect that Paul Barber is none other than Nedumudi(Sivadasamenon in the movie) himself...
lal and Sreeni hear nedumudi tell his wife(lalitha) to chop off the head of the goat..and they think that nedumudi was in fact chopping off the heads of his enemies! mohanlal's dialogue at this stage is hilarious :) and then the scene in which they try to check whether nedumudi had the lash mark on his back :)

when was Akkare3 released, pleeez.
nadodikkaattu was the the first mallu film i saw and i lovedthat song Karakaana kadalinu mele..
my mallu was not that great then but now i fully appreciate the comedy in it.
my fav is when they reach madras and see their friend from kerala acting as a ploitician. (a dig at mgr/karunanidhi)

i think Akkare(3) was released sometime b/w 89-90. Around the same time Abdullah was also released...
that's interesting abt the politician. I heard that there's really a Tamil politician called 'kovai venkatesan' and the movie was taking a dig at him...:) is it true?? Janardanan was superb in that role :)

1.In the beginning when the duo were practising firing, srini's bullet hits an ox that was standing miles away. When all the people chase and slog Srini Lal escapes and tells Soman - " Avide oru Pepattiye thalli kolluva"
2.The duo dresses as blacks and go to Nedumudi's house. Lal asks srini -" Engine undu ente vesham"
Srini -" Kollam. Entethu engine unde"
Lal -" Thaan oru gunavm illa"
3. Saathanam Kayyil Undo- is unforgettable.

1. Capt.Raju brings the duo upon the tower at AnnaNagar. Then he tells them that he is a Professional killer. Appol Srini: "Eda Dasa, Aarada ee Alavalathi"
2. Thilakan's lamenting after the death of Capt.Raju (Pavanazhi). " Enthokke Bahalam aayirunnu. Thokku,Malappuram Kathi,Bomb,Olakkede Moodu"
3.Srini's dialogue when the Inspector congratulates them after the death of Pavanazhi -" Jeevikkan oru maargamum illayengil Police aavanum gnangal Thayara"
4. Srini remembering the song from Avalude Raavukal - Ragendu Kiranangal - after seeing Seema.

Karamana J Nair acts as the smuggler in the movie. When he hears that mohanlal and team had caught his lorry carrying the smuggled goods, he says something like this

i can never forget those 3 movies in life when i had the laugh of my life....
the constant dialogues claiming that they r CID's of tamilnadu in the US n telling everyone that they have arrested COPRA PINNKAKKU KALLAN ANANHAN NAMBIAR looks funny....and the best part was when they get caught by the drug mafia....the gal asks for heroine....srinivasan replies HAIROIL??????????and is dumbfolded....DASAN N VIJAYAN IN THE SUPER MARKET SCENE IS ALSO HILARIOUS

Lal finds Innocent as his rescuer in Madras. Innocent takes them home without full heart.

Lal: "Baletta, Gnangal angana alla..."
