Please try http://sanskrit.gde.to/doc_vishnu/doc_vishnu.html for Ashtapathi AND annamayya.org for Annamacharya compositions ( a few )

hello,
Thanks for your reply but I am not able to get the link for Ashtapathi, the one you gave is not going through. And as far as the annamayya goes they have very few songs with translations. However, thanks once again for your help. If you know any other sites please fill me in.

hi srivalli,
i was looking for the Ashtapadis too, there is hardly any literature/ web sites on the same.
You could try ISKON centres in your area.
I bought some cassettes on Gita Govinda which have meanings in english for a few of the songs [ dr sunil satpathy produced by SAGARIKA cassettes ]
let me know if u have any luck online.
As for Annamayya u will definitely find it in any TTD [ tirupati tirumal devasthanam]store, online am not so sure.
best wishes

Hello Lakshman and Kavi,
Thankyou both very much for your help. I am a Bharatanatyam dancer and I am had time finding meanings for a lot of song and the fact that I live in US really makes my job much harder. I asked for the Geeta Govindam book and once I get it, I am really tempted to start a web site for Astapadis...surely there are quite a few who are experiencing the same problem. Anyways thanks again and I shall keep you posted with any new details. Take care...
